The Foliage plants with larger leaves can easily clean. A rubber plant, cast iron, peace lily, bromeliads, and other plants like this can be cleaned this way.
You need to first clean the leaves with a dry cloth or sponge to remove as much dust as possible. If not then you can end up creating clumps of dirt when the dust gathers together with water. You could even dust them of use the water shower to remove the dust.

In summer seasons when there is warm enough and raining, You can clean your plant thoroughly by placing then outside. At the time of raining when you place your indoor plant outside than all the leaves will be clean and rain will flush the soil of salts.
This is for old plants who are already matured in there pot, You should avoid this process with new plants. After placing then in rain, when the rain stop bring back the plant indoor and clean the leaves, if you don’t do this the dirt will again sit on the leaves of the plant.

Cleaning your indoor plant often will only make your plant attractive but it is not required for plants health. Don’t use the harmful material to make your indoor plant shine.
There are lots of products available in the market but you should check the ingredient before you use. Some products can cause the leaf pores to become blocked and can attract more dust.
